Visas – do we require visas to visit African countries?

Visa requirements vary from country to country and you should verify with the State Department if any country you will be travelling to require a visa in advance of travel. Fortunately most Southern African countries grant visas on arrival, some for a fee payable at the point of entry. It is very important before commencing any journey to Africa that your passport has a minimum six month validity remaining after departure from the USA, and has at least four blank visa pages.
